Can moving the body have added value in learning mathematics? Much research on embodied cognition suggests that cognition is distributed across brain, body, tools, environment, and culture. Far less is known how these ideas can be used for teaching and learning mathematics. In this talk I will give examples of embodied design and reflect on what are sensible ways of involving the body in learning mathematics in interaction with technology.
