Talk 1:
In the first talk, we will give an introduction to spin geometry. First, we define the Clifford algebra, the spin group and their representations. We then introduce the spin structure and construct the spinor bundle in order to prove some rigidity results concerning the spectral geometry of the Dirac operator. Second, we consider spin manifolds with boundary and show how the extrinsic spin geometry is related to the intrinsic one. Finally, we establish the spinorial Gauss formula between the spin LC connections and relate the corresponding Dirac operators.
